Dr. B. David Massaband, DPM, FACFAS is the Director of Tower Podiatry, The Foot and Ankle Surgical Institute at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers. Dr. Massaband is currently the chief of podiatry and also an attending podiatric surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and local surgery centers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Massaband is also an Adjunct Professor at Western University of Health and Sciences and Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Massaband was previously an attending consultant at the V.A. Loma Linda Medical Center where he also completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery and podiatric medicine. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, an affiliate of the UCSF Medical School, and his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Massaband has guided a private practice in Los Angeles for over 20 years, specializing in complex foot and ankle surgeries as well as diabetic foot and wound care. His other clinical interests include reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, pediatric orthopedics, bunions, hammertoes, cosmetic foot surgery, sports medicine and injuries, and limb salvage.
While on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Massaband is an active member within his department and an educator of current and potential residents of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Massaband is also a frequent and distinguished speaker at community events and health fairs held by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, USC, and the NYLF (National Youth Leadership Forum) etc.
